WW & MBB does not have a single player or any BOOM, I admit I have not been following signings in MBB. Are there still elite players available?

A true fan. Sacrificing all those joints and ligaments for LSU.

What this means for coaches
• Players must enter the portal by April 21 — that’s the hard cutoff. ?
• Coaches can recruit/contact players once they’re in the portal, including official visits during April. ?
• Commitments can happen AFTER April 21 — there’s no deadline for signing with a new school. ?
?
Important nuance (coaching perspective)
• There is no official “end date” for picking up players — only a deadline for entering the portal.
• After April 21:
• Coaches can still recruit unsigned portal players for months.

What LSU is likely doing
Under Matt McMahon, this situation points to a full roster rebuild strategy, not panic.
?
1. Clean slate roster reset
When “everyone leaves,” it usually means:
• The current roster didn’t fit the system
• NIL expectations vs. production didn’t align
• Staff wants their type of players
Instead of patching holes, LSU is:
• Clearing scholarships
• Rebuilding with portal veterans + specific fits

Getting the 6-7 transfer forward from Kentucky is a good start.
