The STTDB chant is an embarrassment to descent people. The “old” stadium experience didn’t have pornographic cheers because this sort of behavior would have been considered bizarre and disgusting. It is baffling how so many now think it’s no big deal. They even think you’re the problem for objecting to it. I don’t see a fix for this at all because society has changed a lot over the last 35 years and you can’t turn back the clock. Kids are not raised the same. iPhones and internet have become the playground for kids and there is simply too much garbage there normalizing crude and indecent behavior.

Sorry Tiger fans who grew up loving Saturday nights in Death Valley. The new generation has different ideas about what they consider a great atmosphere.

I think it sucks but I’m just a class of 87 “Boomer” whose opinion means squat to today’s Snowflakes.

I hate to say it but I wonder if the university is not completely 100% all in on doing a revolution and getting the old guard who gives the money for everything out. Let the newbies who want this dog shite in the stadium pay for the coaches, the players, everything. See what kind of product they will get it won't be pretty

You have bands and it’s a football game. What the hell is the need for a nuisance DJ?

You could play DJ music between every play to try to drown it out. The students will start chanting it during announcements and downs. It isn’t going to stop so quit making a big deal about it. Give them one neck chant during a big defensive stop late in the game and it won’t happen with every some.

Honestly, I did not hear STTDB once in this last game. My wife pointed out to me that the DJ would blast the music to drown it out.

LSU fans were starting to chant STTDB to the music when the piped in music broke it up?

I don't want to hear shite from anyone about the purpose of the piped in music being to "drown out profanity" until they quit piping in Bitch I'm from Louisiana

the sight of a 65 year old woman rapping along to "Set This Bitch Off" isn't very appealing.

it's no wonder people leave in the 2nd quarter.

Band played all game at both Men's and Women's BB games last week.

Wanna know why? Because the students didn't try to "Neck"-ize any of the songs.

If they ever stop at football, the band will play there too.

It's literally the student's choice.

The entitlement in this thread.

1. You attend games to support the football team.
2. While you may have a decent band in college, it's not the best; perhaps it's among the top SEC bands. In Baton Rouge, Southern University's band outshines LSU's. Ohio State's band is far better than LSU's.
3. The DJ plays over the song "Neck," and many of you believe that screaming "STTDB" at the top of your lungs is classy, but it's actually trashy, as most of you come off.
4. It seems like you only want to hear Garth Brooks and "Louisiana Saturday Night" during the entire game. Remember, the school's population is diverse, and the majority of the football team is African American. They aren't interested in only country music throughout the game; artists like Boosie and other rap musicians really get them energized.
5. It's not all about you.
