It’s hilarious that some of you think that the students care.

What bothers me is that the OP has more upvotes than down. Shows the mentality of this board

My 13 year old son and I went to the LSU vs Auburn game and we were sitting directly behind the band. The LSU fans started the STTDB chant to another song that the band was playing. We loved every bit of it. It was his very first LSU game and watching Tracy kick the game winner will be a memory that he will never forget. We heard worse from the Auburn fans after that last PI call. Hell he hears worse when he's online playing Fortnite.

Maybe it’s not about offending the little kids and more about sounding like a trashy fan base on national TV.

nd kids being exposed to “bad words”
It’s hilarious that some of you trashy bastards actually believe it’s the words that gets everyone pumped and adds to the atmosphere.

It had the same effect before the chant was added, then it became an embarrassment.

I think you're confused with the difference between being "classy" and being soft.
you are soft

I didn’t say I think they care. It’s been apparent for most of the decade that they don’t care how trashy they are.

The OP values hearing Neck more than parenting his children correctly.

I don't have to worry about my 7yo and 14yo hearing such nastiness, since they wear earplugs to every game

Maybe proper parenting would be leaving the kids at home rather than bringing them to a hostile CFB atmosphere with drunk college students. You wouldn't bring your 5 year old daughter to a hype concert would you?

edit: everything in life doesn't cater to your fragile little children

Football is a violent game, they could witness someone die or get paralyzed on the field, that would be a lot worse for little johnny to see than hear a muffled stupid fricking chant

Nothing says good parenting like losing your mind over the possibility your children might hear some bad words and being unable to keep them from repeating it

You guys would not survive at a Premiere League Soccer match.

Difference is, many of their chants are at least clever or funny.

STTDB is just weak. It certainly isn't worth some of the bizarre arguments in this thread.

You're an idiot. Sure, I know what my children are exposed to in public school, but does that give me the ability to shirk my responsibilities to them in regards to raising them the best way possible?

Look, the bottom line is people who curse and swear (especially in public or mixed company) simply aren't very bright. Seldom have a known a Doctor, Lawyer, CEO or business professional who used vulgar language in public.

It's trashy.

Now, do I care whether folks say STTDB while "Talkin' Out the Side of Your Neck" is being played? Not at all.....knock yourselves out. You won't hear me complain a single bit. The only time I complain is when someone goes on and on and on within earshot of my children. Then, I have a problem with it. Remember, it's not a bar, it's a football game and there are children around.
