This team flat out can’t hit. We were wondering if it was our pitching or hitting in spring? We have our answer boys.

Not disagreeing with you about the hitting...but our pitching staff is pretty nasty

He played center field his entire freshman year. He was moved to SS his sophomore year and stayed there until he left. He was known for making errors in High School but as others have mentioned, he was a hell of a hitter.

Always been a problem with PM teams. He takes a good player and moves him to an unfamiliar position and expects flawless defensive play.
Baseball has lots of situations that are not learned overnight if you have not played that position regularly. Very few can move from one spot to another and get it right.

Exactly. The game speeds up and sometimes a player will need an adjustment period. If you can’t get that experience against Eastern frickin Kentucky, who are you going to get it against???

LSU needs Doughty’s bat & that is the bottom line. They better familiarize him really damn quick

Can we wait and see what reason is given for taking Doughty out? Has anyone heard anything official yet?
