In today’s Advocate, George Will has an editorial about college football and I took a picture of the words he used to describe LSU football. Look in the center of the picture.

The 'media'....vitually ALL of it, local,state,national,international has gone to COMPLETE shite ! A few decades back a journalism degree meant SOMETHING....where oh where are the legit journalists, there have to be some left ! WHY do they not call out all the charletains/liars/rouges that continually damage their own industry/calling ????/

George Will's argument amounts to name calling which never persuades. There are no prohibitions about letting players who went to a training camp not play. It comes down to extant eligibility rules which do not cover this so far as I can see. In the 5 in 5 case, men who graduated in 2022 were specifically excluded for not particular reason.

Why the hell do we have guys like this writing for our local paper. Being contrary ok have to look at all angles I get it. But if this is the crazy shite they write when I want to read about little known lsu football feel good stories and undervalued local talent, or what ever. That’s what should be making headlines.
Like Bo Bordelon, Dylan carpenter, Dilin jones, Malik Elzy like wtf are these guys writing about and why are they writing for a local news paper about the local team… frick this guy and frick the ppl that hire and publish this crap.
