George Will made a bunch of money for years making money as a “reasonable conservative” commentator/author/ nerd whatever. He jumped on the hate Trump train head over heels. After betting the wrong horse, he was blacklisted on the right, and the left never liked him so he’s resorting to sensationalism, which was always his schtick but now he’s resorting to attacking college football. What a dork.

When I was checking in to my room in Chicago in 2016 for the World Series, he was in line behind me.

Will is a pompous DB political reporter who is also in that group of old school pretentious baseball writers. That’s his POV.
