All the Wade fired himself posters need to get a clue. What about Self, Hardaway, Calapari??? Oh they didn’t “fire themselves” bc the rules are different for them.
The losers that didn’t like Wade are likely losers in the game of life. We are all trying to move forward but firing Wade was an incredibly weak move and we will always miss our leader. That said, yes it was complicated, and the behind the scenes crew had us by the balls.

Boosters are going to have to pony up to actually get talent here. Seems like the basketball team doesn’t have much NIL going on. Might be part of the reason Wade was having to pay people out of his own bank account.

Were any of these directly caught paying someone? No, they had bag men. Dale Brown was one of the dirtiest players in the basketball game back in the day. But he always had a bag man Ron Abernathy and later Johnny Jones. The NCAA wanted to nail Dale to the wall for years because he taunted them over and over but they never could pin anything on him. They finally got him and LSU by getting Lester Earl to rat on LSU. All with dirty tactics by the way. Wade was his own bag man, it doesn't get much dumber than this.
