Vegas disagrees. I’ll side with Vegas on this one.

Chizik will figure it out once he sees Brennan play a few games.

I wouldn’t say zero clue.

He's very much a better pro prospect than any of those guys except maybe Newman.
Actually, Miss State has a grad transfer too who should do pretty well and surprise in the SEC in Leach's air raid offense, a fellow by the name of KJ Costello. He played in the Pac 12 at Stanford, so, Leach knows him well coming over from the same conference. Dude was hurt most of last season, but he put up solid numbers the year before in 2018 and has excellent pro size at 6'5-225.

Wow, you mean analysts aren't ranking a guy that's never played?

Isn't it their job to analyze? Do you think Brennan is a better qb than Mond. I do.

While I believe Brennan will likely be very good this year, folks outside of LSU can’t really be faulted for not immediately anointing him just because he studied for two years under Joe and looked good in mop-up duty.

We don't even know what Brennan will look like.

Their ranking isn't disrespectful. They just have almost nothing to go on. Some garbage time stats?

Everyone of those players have played meaningful minutes in a meaningful college football game. Is that really a surprise that Brennan is not considered one of them.

I love Brennan and think he will do good but if a talking head put a QB From another SEC school That has never started a collegiate game in their top 5 This board would say that guy is an idiot as they should.

Not surprised - Brennan is an unknown right now but I think his time has come and he will be very good.

there's nothing to analyze about Brennan

I'm fine with Brennan and i am optimistic about his potential in our offense.

As for Mond, I don't think he sucks, i think people saying that mostly saying it because he plays for A&M. He hasn't been great but he hasn't been terrible either if you look at his #'s. It is a down year for QBs in the SEC, he's going to be a 4th year starter so by default almost he's a the top of the QB list heading into the season. Wouldn't shock me in the least if Brennan out plays him though.

Trask, Jones and Plumlee are no brainers to me. What is unclear is the talent at WR and OL returning for each team. UGAs OL will need to learn to pass block or run a different system which will be difficult, but it can be done - see LSU 2019. They are flat out loaded. This QB is legit so him being listed isn’t surprising.
As far as Mond, he has talent, experience and Fisher has had him for 3 years, so that’s not surprising either.
Brennan is unproven.
Those are all fairly safe picks in my opinion.

It matters not what Gene Chizik thinks or anybody else. It matters only how Brennan performs and what he is able to accomplish as leader of this year's Tigers. I am excited for Myles and the Tigers and highly optimistic! I expect the Tigers to lose possibly one game and again make the playoffs. So much talent, great coaching, and Myles Brennan, with excellent skills, and, after three years of development and having Joe Burrow as his teacher, exploding on the scene!

It may be the worst year for QBs in a long time. What a terrible group.

Newman is going into UGA with basically no offseason.

-New OC
-3 OL drafted
-Swift drafted (albeit, they are loaded at RB)

He will have an offseason a lot like Joe Burrow did in 2018. Granted, Monken is a much better OC than Ensminger, but he has his work cut out for him.

Plumlee is a 52% passer. Not a threat with proper gameplanning.

-New coach. Heard Kiffin on a podcast a few weeks ago. HE IS NOT EVEN IN OXFORD yet lol. He's been in Manhattan Beach, CA

Good luck with that match.

Mac Jones has started 3g. He isn't that far ahead of Brennan. Many think Young will beat him out eventually. Jones is a nice game manager.

He mentioned Brennan when he was pressed on it by Peter Burns.

He said that was his list RIGHT NOW!

He crawfished.
