"All that having been said...who really gives a shite? I can't believe this horseshite has gone on for three pages. And I'm actually chastisng myself for contributing to it."

Here's the deal. It's the most interesting topic on the board today. Seriously.

What else is there to talk about? Hooray! We won! Texas hit 5 solo shots and it still wasn't enough!

What's interesting about that? My topic, however, is far more interesting. What would you trade for a baseball NC?

Ole Miss has been widely picked by most critics to win the SEC West next year.

Perhaps you should stick to baseball.

Being a favorite ONE year does not make you an upper tiered SEC team. You're not even a good football fan.

Thank's for defining "major sport" for us moron. I think I'll go watch the X-Games or World Series of Poker or some of the other "major sports" they are showing on their TV network.

"Maybe it's just you and your homo friends that sit around and jerk off to pictures of football players but in normal people land baseball IS and always will be a major sport as LSU."

Oh, ok. So baseball is more of a major sport than football at LSU. I see.

Just curious. Who is the mayor of "Normal People Land?"

This is an old topic with a new twist... never heard it equated to regular-season games.

I'd take a NC in baseball EASILY over a regular-season SEC football win.

However, since we're trading NCs, I'd probably go with:
1 Football NC = 4-6 Baseball NCs = 9-12 Men's Basketball NCs = 55 Women's Basketball NCs

Fortunately, I live in the real world. I don't deal in hypotheticals. I don't have to trade ANYTHING for it.

You "football/basketball are the only sports at LSU" types are really something. You actually seem to be pissed off if another team at LSU does well or wins a championship, like it takes away from the accomplishments of the football/basketball teams.

Those aren't major sports. You can't access them on the homepage year round.

Try again.

Guys, stop feeding the troll. He's nothing more than an attention whore.

Attention whore: once you've gotten your fair share of "me" time on the board, please go jump into a swimming pool filled with AIDS. Thank you.

trading a national championship in anything for one regular season win in football is pretty dumb.

If you had said something like trading last nights win for an undefeated season and national title win against USC in pasadena on the other hand...

Only trade national titles for national titles

They're a favorite in JUNE dumbfrick. They were 8-4 last year. That's hardly a resume to be considered "one of the upper-tiered teams" genius.

If given the opportunity to trade a National Championship in baseball for anything LSU sports related, what would it be?

For me, it would be an SEC regular season victory in football over any of the upper tiered SEC teams. I'd trade a victory over Texas tonight for a win next year vs. either, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss or Georgia.

That's because this board has it's fair share of mental midgets.

Agree. Because the National Championship will be recognized in our baseball stadium forever. But how many wins over other SEC teams are forever plastered on the stadium itself. Answer: 0. I can tell you LSU won National Titles in baseball in 91, 93, 96, 97, and 2000. Without looking it up, I bet you can't tell me if LSU defeated Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, and/or Auburn in football in each of those seasons.

Mostly because of gambling/sports pools. And oh, Yes, if it's on ESPN's homepage it's a major sport.

I'm not pissed off. Simply put, a baseball NC means much less than a title in a major college sport. You seem pissed off because you know college baseball is really small in the world of college sports.

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
