I’d take Herman as our offensive developer and play caller anytime. Now we’d need a great d coordinator. His d’s at Texas suck. But Orgeron needs both coordinators to be successful. O can get the recruits and motivate the team. The rest lies with who he surrounds himself with. I tell you this -Herman can coach circles around Ensminger offensively.

Tom Herman would have won big at LSU, but I am happy with O. Texas AD may have lots of money, but UT Athletics is an internal tugowar most of the time.

This is the year of rankings don’t matter. Players don’t care. Teams have players going in and out of quarantine. Conferences all playing different numbers of games. It’s all a wash. Whole season will come with a barrel of asterisks. This is all exhibition—college football will resume next fall.
