A Florida Gator player was recounting playing in Tiger Stadium - how nutty and overwhelming it was - and commented about the lion in the cage...lol

1. The weed is a lot better. (I mean a lot better.)

All 100% GMO and created in science labs at universities across the nation over the last 30 years. There's not a single thing better about it. If you know, you know. There's a reason they're making it "legal" now.

My family and their friends tailgated in the ‘50’s. My first game was in 1957 vs. Ga Tech. I was 13.

There’s got to be a way to incorporate a habitat into TS where it’s sound proof and all.

Did I mention parking and traffic - nary a problem

We parked where the PMAC is now. It was an open field that I remember sloshing across, many times.

By half-time, there was a cloud of smoke hanging over the stadium.

There was also not a lot of getting up and moving around. People actually watched the game.

Not sure if there’s a way to sound proof against small earthquakes and tens of thousands of people, especially to a tiger’s sense of hearing

One was named Big Red, he was also a legend. When he started yelling “tiger bait” during warm ups it gave you goose bumps.

I can still hear him in my mind...one older man sitting in the top row of the Northwest End Zone (now part of the student section). He'd show up when the stadium opened and yell "Tiger Bait" for well over an hour as people filed in.

Some of my fondest memories were driving down to Baton Rouge Saturday mornings from Shreveport with my dad anticipating the game that night. We'd arrive around dusk and you could see the lights from Tiger Stadium glowing in the distance with the smoke or fog hanging below the lights. My first game was in 1969 when we beat the Bear and Bama.
The trips back home on Sunday were filled with talk of the previous night's game while reading through the pages of the sports section of the Morning Advocate. Good times!

Dan Hardesty is kinfolk. Would rush to Hebert's across from the plant and buy the Sunday paper. Had one colorized photo on the front page and the little b&w photo frames would trace/track the ball
