it was a strike that he leaned into and it hit him
It hit his bat. It was ruled a foul ball. I mean, you can't just call it a strike. We are all pissed at this shittastic performance, but that play was called correctly. PM even won the argument to get the guy back to the plate. Not SBs fault that Mason Katz turned a bloop single into a 2 run double (with a fat Carmona scoring form first even).

Stony Brook does a very good job of making us throw pitches they like to hit......
These guys won't swing at anything that is not a strike.

We don't suck they are a better team

We have to go to Cotton and hope he can hold this team down for 3-4 innings...maybe get some momentum going at the plate.
We are out of time and we have to throw something out there that is going to look different than what they have hammered all weekend.

Shoot, we won today on back to back hbp. LSU is still in this.
I appreciate your optimism and it is rather telling that so many "fans" are declaring the end of the world. Lots of outs are left to be made.
Not sure why he pulled Broussard for a bloop single. I think our head coach is probably the greatest hurdle to a would be come back.

They are slowly delivering body punches and killing us from the inside out.

Ross leading off LSU 4th... really need runs starting now
swing & a miss... 0-1
called strike... 0-2
fly out to right-center... RF got there

Seriously SB is the better team and has a legit shot to win the CWS. Thy were only seeded so low due to being relatively unknown. If thy win this I pull for them the rest of the way.
Exactly.

We look like we've already given up...No enthusiasm, no confidence, nobody's talking they look like they already lost
Need to stay patient at the plate, make smart decisions on the field, and hit the corners. Runs are possible if you don't quit.

We had Dean, Lemehieu, Mitchell, Schimpf, Matt Clark, Gibbs, etc.
PM hasn't recruited hitting and Javi hasn't coached up the average hitters we do have.

I'd almost rather Lizard Lick than this circus

We gotta get something going. 9 hits to 1 sucks right now

We'll just keep chipping away each inning. I think this game ends close.
