A run in the 6th will bring on that nagging feeling of last nights game, to the Tx squad.

Our hitting hasn't been what we're used to. Our pitching hasn't been what we've gotten used to these last couple of weeks.
Part of it may be nerves, but I think it's severely underestimated what effect a fricking cocksucker ump like this can do. When pitches at your ankles are called strikes, you have to look for them and fight them off. Same for pitches in the other batters' box. And you can't do a fricking thing with pitches like that other than try to fight them off and ground them straight to someone.
Same with pitching. When pitches that are perfect for any other ump in the league are called balls, you have to adjust. The plate shrinks, and everything is easier to hit because of it. You have to lay some right over the middle to get the piece of shite to call it a strike.
I am very interested in seeing if the umps we've had here are the same umps for UT-USM and UT-ASU version 2. I complain about inconsistent umps often, and will joke about biased ones, but this whole CWS has been bullshite with regards to strike zones in Texas' favor.
It pisses me off even more that anyone in any kind of power refuses to say anything about it.

Gibbs has to get going here. He should know he'll get the outside pitch so go the other way.
