Part of the problem is the smoking nazis. I know several season ticket holders who used to stay the entire game but now leave early because there is no where to smoke and stay in the game. It is pretty ridiculous to not provide a gated "smoking area" or something. The Superdome does it for Saints games no problem you would think LSU could handle something like this with the 1000's of ushers standing around.

Dude it's a state law. Many of the game marshals are smokers as well, most will tell you they don't like enforcing the rule, but they have no choice. There are unfortunately those FEW marshals that let it go to their heads, and get on a power trip.

Since the OL hasn't been blocking all that great. Jefferson will have to hurry and throw the screen pass and let us get to the EZ on first downs.
They swat the player with a rolled up newspaper then rub his nose in it so he won't do it again...wait, no that's what they do if he poops on the field :yack:

If Urban Meyer is stupid enough to let Tebow play when he's not ready, then it's his fault. Any player who steps onto the field is assumed to be healthy, and must be prepared to take their licks like everyone else. (except the kicker of course) :geauxtigers:

The band was told at practice that fireworks and a flyover were going to be included in pregame on Saturday.

Hopefully not at the same time. Wouldn't want an Iraqi War vet having flashbacks because of the fireworks, and taking out the entire stadium as hostile anti-aircraft targets :rotflmao:

Why not "fig"? You gay?
JJ is still a little green, but is shaping up great. Having said that, I believe the real problem is not so much a question of the quarterback's nerves, as it is the offensive line's ability to block and afford JJ the time he needs to find someone in the open, and make the pass.

BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen!!!! Time to go back to basics. QB is having to run with the ball way too much. All he needs is 2-3 more seconds. IMHO the offensive line just isn't performing up to par. :spank:

I agree, no one is gonna follow the policy, but when lsujro is telling the state trooper to kiss his arse, and he has no legit reason for making him sit down, and then is "gently" extricated from his seat and escorted out, the trooper will cite this policy to him.

aside from that, there is no legit reason for him to make you sit

Actually there is, check the 2009 LSU Fan Football Fan Guide, Page 19.

"STANDING DURING GAMES
Policy:
LSU encourages fans to be courteous to other fans in choosing to stand during games. Spontaneous reaction to plays or significant events is expected and encouraged. Continuous standing during game action when other fans are sitting is discouraged and will be addressed by game marshals [and law enforcement] if complaints from other fans are reasonable and continuous."

The trooper probably won't slap you around, but he will definitely escort you out of the stadium if you tell him to kiss your arse.
