The brisket is worth a trip out there! It's also a pretty weird/cool building as it's a food truck that they have built a permanent structure around. The "Kitchen" is still the truck.
Good morning! Like the title says, I'm looking for a steady plug for duck around BR. The only place I've found it consistently is Chris' Specialty Foods, but they are EXTREMELY proud of it ($12+ per breast) and I have 5 mouths to feed at a time. I'm mostly looking for unseasoned, skin on Breast, but halves are fine too. I seem to remember Costco carrying Maple Leaf Farms Halves, but haven't seen them there in years. Rouse's also carries frozen breast from time to time (which is fine), but not consistently. Anyone have any other ideas? TIA!
Terrible News, Loved that man. This leaves a huge hole in the city.
Two Houma residents were killed this morning after their car crossed the centerline on Bayou Blue Blue Road and struck an 18-wheeler, police said.

State Police identified the victims as Theodule Marcel, 56, and his passenger, Kristofor Marcel, 33, both of Houma.

The crash occurred at 6:40 a.m. near Country Estates Drive, Troop C said.

Just updated.

Theodule Marcel was driving a 2010 Nissan Maxima north and struck a 2012 Kenworth truck driven by Carl Hallows, 62, of Galveston, Texas, police said. Hallows, who was wearing his seat belt, was uninjured.

Neither of the Marcels was wearing his seat belt, troopers said. Results of toxicology tests, required in all fatal crashes, are pending for both drivers.
It was my uncle and my cousin. Do you have a link to more information? I just got the call from my family.

I only went there once, for the lunch buffet, did not like. Is dinner way better?

Smoked Gouda is by far the best cheese for a burger that I've found. Second place is a slice of Munster and a slice or sharp cheddar.
Recently rediscovered rolling rock. I like that it has a nice yeast taste, but is not to heavy. Shiner is a bit too bitter for me.

Saw this on their YouTube channel, quick easy hollandaise sauce from Ruffinos. Almost like cheating, butWorked like a charm! Hollandaise
Betts Fine art on stumberg gots it. Trying to convince the wife that $200 isn't too much for it. :dunno:

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Great flavor, not super hot. Great on grilled chicken.
I remember the Turtle soup being outstanding. I think I also had some pretty good fried seafood.

I usually make my Dutch oven with red beans, rice, and a blanket. Wife hates that recipe. :dunno:

I Woud love to be the guy you sold the first print to. Maybe even two. :usa:
Albertsons on essen/perkins had it. Soithern magnolia pecan too.
I need to branch out at Mansurs. Every time I go, I get the same thing, and it's always amazing. I start with a dozen charbroiled oysters at the bar, get a table and have the Acadiana Egg Rolls and the Duck Mansur. I just can't convince myself to try anything diffefrent!!
