We had 11 hits. Timely hitting was a problem, but we hit plenty of balls hard tonight.
so? We led the SEC in hitting multiple years in the SEC with Javi. Nobody gave a shite. It is about timely hitting

ole miss celebrating like they won the cws.

Don't try to take away from that team. As much as it sucks they hung in and played better baseball. They got timely hits whereas we couldn't hit shite when it mattered. We could have ended that game multiple times.

I looked at in slow motion - I think it would have been fair - maybe a game winning triple.

We were a few feet away from winning the game in the 9th. I'll take our approach at the plate this year over the last few years. Hitting is more than what the stats indicate.

LSU pitchers allowed 7 hits in 14 innings and had 22 strikeouts. Yet LSU loses because the offense could not generate a single earned run and no runs of any sort since the fourth inning.

With your team scuffling offensively, and a man on third with less than two outs in the 10th and Laird batting, you simply do a safety bunt and win the game.

Please use that as the news story and epitaph for this game.

Great game, Tigers. Our team is a foggy reflection of what we were last year so this very encouraging. You're still going far this year.

We have zero difference at the plate. We were actually fine under Javi. Now the base path is a massive improvement
