wouldn't have mattered, aTm would've finished us off in the 9th. They had bases loaded no outs and that hit just now would've scored two.
The problem is our lack of ability to defend and pitch in the late innings. Our bullpen is sketchy at best right now and we had the last 11 batters retired by aTm, albeit one of those should've been a walk.

I can't comment on last night but i disagree, the 2-2 pitchout lead to a walk yes but if he was running and we gunned him out everyone would be saying how great of a call that was. It's a hugh risk worth taking in that type of game.
