Florida has structural issues that result in them having to hire coaches like Napier and Sumrall. They will have to dynamite the foundations and rebuild before they can hope to beat a school like LSU for a coach like Kiffin. Florida is an objectively better state and place to live than Louisiana. And yet somehow no one wants to be a Gator.

I was straight up thinking of you when I made this post. I'm LSU class of 2010, so I know what Florida is supposed to be. I hate Florida. But y'all deserve so much better. LSU has owned Florida for a decade now. That should be intolerable in Gainesville.
When Aggie came to BR and cucked us last year it set off a chain reaction. We are too proud to lose to aggie like that. Aggie is our bitch, not vice versa. We fired BK and paid out the arse to upgrade.
Florida sat there with its dick in its hands and lost the coach they wanted.
Y'all need to nuke it and start over. Historical inertia is killing you.

This first season with Lane will be a feeding frenzy for the media and others to take pot shots. It will go away after this season.

The reason LK isn’t at Fla today is because of the AD,he said that himself.As far as Sumrall is concerned he is FOS if he says he would turn down the job of a lifetime if Fla would have not let him coach in the playoffs.LK wanted to coach in the playoffs,after all HE BUILT THAT TEAM,but their AH AD wouldn’t let him.He didn’t walk out on them they walked out on him.

Floridas potential is off the charts.Spurrier and Meyer proved that,it’s the AD and the big shots that are the problem.That doesn’t take away the fact that the job has tremendous potential.Jon Sumrall has a strong personality and he might be able to exact change in attitude of the higher ups.Winning 8-10 games this season might just do that.

Actually he wanted to finish the season and we were fine with waiting. Ole Miss tried to strong arm him into an extension holding the playoffs over his head. Guess what? It didn't work.
