This is true. It's not a bad thing either. All teams have pic plays that they use, and if they don't, they probably aren't a very good offensive team.

The point is he is making it about alabama thus shading our light...but he cant!

I watched that this morning and 100% agreed with that take. Plus I think with the current goofy OT rules you should ALWAYS go for 2 in that situation. Remember if we tie it up there we get the ball first in 2nd OT and would HAVE to go for 2 if we score. If we don’t make it then, Bama can just kick the extra point to win if they score.

I like Greg. He has been doing excellent job. Most of the SEC Network guys are decent compared to the ESPN hot take guys

Talent wise, this was essentially a David vs. Goliath situation. And I don’t say that to take anything away from our guys, but we still aren’t playing with a full scholarship roster. They fought like hell, but in that situation, you don’t give Bama the ball again.
G Mc isn’t wrong at all. I don’t know of any LSU fan who was confident going into OT against them. Each additional opportunity Bama got to score decreased the win chance for LSU.

I don't see any reason to prolong OT against Bryce and the officials.

I did not hear his most recent comments, but some of you people must be watching different games than I do. The games he has called for LSU, he has been very honest, and very complimentary of Kelly and the team as a whole.

Haha cry some more. It was a pic play executed very well. He also said the talent level wasn’t a huge difference.

That was my take of the go for 2 call. Our defense had just fought like heck on at least 2 4 down possessions before Bama scored in OT. When we scored on first play, I don't think our D had recovered, so yes, stamina and depth was critical at that time, thus I actually called for the 2 pt try. We will never have a better time to beat Bama, so just do it, and they did. Very proud of coaches and team to overcome ridiculous calls by refs and non calls (flagrant holding on 40 on Bama long td scramble pass play?). Yes, I'm still ticked off LSU has to deal with that crap every game we play with Bama. And yes, Peterson had two feet in bounds.

if not Alabama would have won with their superior talent
I've got news for McElroy. With exception of the 2019 game against LSU, Alabama has had a significant talent advantage in every single game they have played in for the last decade and they aren't undefeated in those games.

I agree, to a degree. Bama is the more talented team and he just meant the longer the game goes on, that favors the more talented team.
If you watched his breakdown of the game during the week, he was one of the few that kept saying LSU was dangerous and could cause problems if the game was close in the 4th quarter. His assessment of both teams were pretty accurate.

Fan of his or not, Alabama's superior talent couldn't stop our 2 point conversion.

That’s pretty much why BK went for 2

Smile…..and say “it’s about the record not the roster”.

I heard a completely different analysis from him. He was very complimentary of LSU and talked about how much he liked this team since they turned it around after the TN game. Some of yall look for shite to be pissed off about. Also, by player ranking composites (which are honestly meaningless), this was one of Sabans most talented teams. The notion that the game favored Bama the longer it went is absolutely correct and saying that is not saying anything negative about LSU. Just saying that by the numbers, Bama has more 4-5 star talent. Just facts.

He's right about the superior talent aspect.
I don't really see it as a pick play though
