This is a terrible excuse They knew the playoffs were on the line. Losing by 21 would hurt their chances. They should have punted given what was at stake.
They had -3 yards rushing. The only compelling stat Bama had was penalty yards. Georgia was penalized 80 yards, Bama was penalized 5.

I think I would prefer that they get in. They have not been good down the stretch and will get their arse kicked again.I don’t want to hear them whining that they could’ve won it all.
