They could have multicultural immigration without the idiocy of allowing incompatibles in. There are plenty of people in the world who would be both compatible and quickly assimilate.

If they really wanted people for the Middle East, there are millions of Christians who are suffering persecution there. They wouldn't burn down churches and cathedrals too.

“ They just want better learning conditions.”.(quote PS)

They want France for their own. Money, People (whom they envy and despise) and Culture. France has a big decision to make. Give it up or fight.

An occasional optimist, I predict that these riots will usher Le Pen straight into office, 6 months from now.

Le Pen will probably be arrested and the party banned as Melancon is “elected” instead.

Well, if they send in their army, they can use rifles issued during WW2. They are like new, never been used before.

I'm not fond of what France has become, but this comment is so out of touch with reality it's not even funny.

73,000 men died and 230,000 were wounded defending their country. I'm not going to fault the common soldier being subject to poor leadership.

And our media isn't covering them honestly here because they don't want voters getting freaked out about hostile invading immigrants right as they are trying to help Democrats, who love open borders and brown jihadist muslims and commies, win midterm elections.

It suggests that a rape can be viewed as quasi-consensual because of "language barriers" and that a migrant raping you can be viewed as a "romantic gesture". Also, the sexual assault of a white woman can lead to "lasting love".

We have DEI rape now. And you're racist if you're against migrant rape!

NPR covered them this morning. They made no mention of fire but suggested this began as a student protest--protesting dilapidated school facilities--and later "even joined by parents and union members" as a march, blah, blah blah.

There are actual adult humans who honestly believe these riots are about education. The addled mind of a leftist.

Islam is a cult that exists solely as a pretext for savages to wantonly commit murder.

Change my mind.

It's worse than that.

Riots in France can get out of hand. French Revolution. Riots in the 1830's and 40s where they become pitched battles.....or riots in the late 50s early 60s directed at Algerian workers at the height of the Algerian War from 1954 - 1962. They were fishing out bodies from the Seine for weeks.

Americans do not understand the French......for that matter, the French don't really understand themselves, either.

You are just a stones throw away from getting it right. Most likely though it is going to take that stone thrown at your head before you get there

I don't know if this was supposed to be a joke but that is what they are protesting for. One of the biggest complaints is overcrowded class rooms. I wonder why the class rooms are over crowded?

I believe this may be an accurate statement.

These aren’t protests

These aren’t riots

This is terrorism born from an invasion. It should be treated as such. With indiscriminate lethal force
