Let it go, man. He’s been nothing but a great ambassador for LSU.

Staying in the locker room is better than kneeling.

That said, if people (including the media) would stop talking about it the players would stop doing it.

This show has been mind boggling. Well, lets give them the option to stay in the locker room and do whatever so it won't upset the children. NO. THEY NEED TO BE OUT THERE SHOWING RESPECT!!!

So the obvious solution is to force them to fall in line and ignore the personal liberties granted to them because they are citizens of this great country.

As long as there's no policy of the NFL they are breaking, we need to STFU about it.

his owner pays his salary. And if he produces, he will get a big 2nd contract, regardless of whether he chooses to be on the field for the anthem or not. IMO, none of the players should be on the field for the anthem, like college now and the NFL prior to 2009. Problem solved. And while I don't agree with his political beliefs, he doesn't get into trouble, seems like a good guy to the fans, and a good team mate.

Who cares? Fournette is a great ambassador for Louisiana and an inspiration to many. He has done good deeds for his community and for individuals. So what if you disagree with his stance; get a life.

I would like to know what each player did in the offseason to bring awareness to the protest?

based on his social media accounts, Fournette spent a lot of money on cars and jewelry

I really don’t care and tired about hearing about the taking a knee and national anthem.

the delusion around this issue is so good

I never got called for Saints season tickets before last year. Got called this year too. Pretending that there has not been a decline in interest is just sticking your head in the sand. This is a bad look for Fournette.

Here’s how I would tell you to approach this with compassion for Leonard and other players who you otherwise like. Understand that ignorance is a form of suffering. To remain ignorant is in itself punishment. And all of us are ignorant of something or another.

I thought this whole issue was about disrespecting the flag? So what’s wrong with staying in the locker room? Why are the goal post moving?

Taking a knee until ALL inequalities have been eliminated. These includes: world hunger and salaries.

I'm definitely not surprised that a person upset by this also struggles with spelling.
