I’m sure they could find room for him now to “mentor” and help out Wilson

tGOAT LSU RB struggled getting elite RB recruits to campus

Not sure LF7 has the endurance it takes to be an elite coach and recruiter

Wilson doesn’t have to leave. Just hire Fournette right now.

A good coach and recruiter needs to be an excellent communicator. Honestly don’t know how to rank him in that category. Would love to see him involved with the program in some capacity.

If he’s serious about it I’m sure they’d bring him on to shadow Frank and learn how to recruit. There’s no bigger name in south Louisiana football than LF.

Then he should join the staff as an analyst and work with Frank, Hankton and Sloan. LSU or another elite school isn’t going to just hire an ex NFL alum and get great results out of it.

This. If he wants this in sincerity, then he should start working towards it now or soon. Hopefully it doesn’t become an annoying thing like Mawae complaining about not getting the job every time it comes open but refusing to ever gain any other experience to make himself suitable for it

Yep. Hire him as an offensive analyst. He can be an understudy to Frank, game planning, recruiting, film study, talent evaluation

I am fine with this but he needs to work his way up to a LSU job. Go bust his arse in HS like KF3 did. He I would actually prefer Faulk come back before LF7.

iPod king, I’m in your corner about Leonard Fournette. Eventually Leonard might become a good RB Coach but he needs to prove that he can recruit and actually coach the position at another school. In other words Leonard should not get a premier coaching job fresh out of the NFL.
