He must’ve sat down for an episode of Daily Affirmation with Stuart Smalley!

But when I become a college athlete, I shouldn't have the same freedoms that a free enterprise system affords
For the league to work, there has to be some rules that prohibit the big money programs from simply buying all the best players. Just like pro sports leagues have salary caps - which are VERY un-free market.

The narrative that Burrow had no effect on LSU’s brand is ignorant and insane. I went to a store in Southlake Texas today. 5 years post championship to get my son some indoor soccer cleats and saw 6 jerseys (youth size to adult) 9 home white Burreaux jerseys. What is in your tiny brains? Seriously.

I remember that. I also remember a lot of accusations about racism.

Whats your point? Why not compare Brandon Harris or Danny Etling?

1-To cut down on the chaos
2-They’re kids saving a ton of money on school costs. They can get paid well on top of this but making them millionaires is over the top.

1, What chaos? Do me a favor and look up Free Enterprise.
2. Saving money on education? Many of them don't even want degrees. They are in college because the NFL will not take them until they've been out of HS for 3 years. Just because you value that education, doesn't mean that the athlete does. This system forces them to go to college, then calls the cost "compensation".
Footnote regarding chaos. There was chaos when slavery ended. They called it the Civil War.

Is that one reception when he caught the pass he threw to himself after being tipped and running it 16 yards in the SECCG

It would be kinda funny if TJ Finley has like 100 hours of credit and only 14 of them count at his new school.
If he legitimately earned those credits why that would be funny to you? If that is pleasing to you you're a POS.

How is it ruining it? I'm loving the parity that this has created it. I have enjoyed not be able to predict outcomes this season. I love the story lines. It's good for the sport.

Be a college QB and see the country.

Between Lindsey Scott and TJ Finley, these two guys will have attended 10 universities (9 if we are not double counting LSU).
Scott went JUCO in 2017. He left LSU that semester. There was no portal so he would have lost a year old eligibility. It was a smart move because it reopened recruitment after winning a natty. That said, I don’t count the JUCO semester.
Look at cam ward. 3 schools. Was under recruited out of HS. Now he’s a heisman finalist. Scott wins the FCS heisman. Hopefully Finley can close out on a high note.

It is unrestricted free agency and does nothing but hurt the teammates and team cohesion. It’ll stop because it is blatantly nickel chasing. Speaking of “free enterprise”, the universities could make them employees of the university and sign a deal where they can’t have a second job like a lot of companies specifically make money off of intellectual property.

quote:It's worse than that, it's unrestricted free agency every single year. If they required a minimum two year agreement it would settle things down. Coaching staffs can't build any depth, or plan beyond the next season.
It is unrestricted free agency

I'm sayin "Footbaw" in that Ed Orgeron tone from the infamous "Colonel Reb is Cryin" video. (For those living in a closest and haven't seen it, here's the "Colonel Reb is Cryin" video)....LINK
"T.Jandon Harrisley" was my nickname for TJ while he was at LSU because he's a clone of Brandon Harris...........
