He will go home somewhere like Southeastern. He has no pro career prospects. Great arm but not very accurate and can’t read a defense.

Random thought of the day....I'd love to see a printout of Lindsey Scott and TJ Finley's degree audit/transcripts.

He was doing very well at Texas State. We watched him play alot. The coaches at State was bringing a transfer player from Arizona and he got made and transferred. Then to top it all off the transfer was under investigation in Arizona and the AD would not sign off on his transfer. By that time Finley had already enrolled at Western K. What a cluster mess by the dummy coach.

Lsu has been on a run of revenue generators. Every school has them, and the revenue they generate sometime dwarfs what the school pays for the rest of the team. Just gymnastics alone, people that don't know gymnastics know Livvy, the ones that do know gymnastics know Haleigh and Aleah. People won't typically travel to see a gymnastics meet, but everywhere LSU gymnastics goes this year will get their biggest crowds of the season. It also helps that they're the national champs.

True, the NCAA is powerless to do much about the transfers. The courts don't like restricting movement of athletes when that movement is tied, however tenuously, to education (and I use the term "education" lightly). Just as they won't restrict the movement of regular students, they are loathe to tie an athlete to any academic institution.

Not a bad gig. He’s never going to be a pro QB, so he can bounce around every year and make a few hundred thousand dollars (cumulatively) to put in the bank before age 25

I tried to tell the people on here about him but no one would listen. These ppl called me racist and claimed I was bashing him. These same ppl kept trying to say during recruiting he was a dual threat QB

I remember the part about Texas State going after the transfer QB, and Finley entering the portal. Didn’t realize the other QB never made it there.
I wonder if he can go back to Texas State a la Duce Chestnut.

He's probably losing a bunch of credits that don't transfer to and from all those schools.

What do you expect the NCAA to do about it? If a student can transfer at will, so can a student athlete.

I’m an alum of his HS and know a couple of coaches and several people that were around this kid a decent bit.
