His juco teammate Rene Escobar fits in the forgotten category

Armando Rios...didn't remember him until I saw this thread and remembered after looking at the roster his hit during a game in 93 won my brother a year's worth of free Powerade

I feel like the title should say “Let’s name former LSU baseball players”

I mean he was a decent player 20 years ago. It's not like I said Ryan Patterson.

Garret Edwards is a good one to name. Was having a top notch season out of the pen before going down to TJ

Him and Shores were our 2 best relievers that year and both got bit by the TJ bug. That '23 team won it all and there was so much more pitching potential sidelined due to injury

Kinda fun story...when I was a kid I caught a foul ball. Was sitting near the dugout. Dirks waved to me with a pen in his, tossed him the ball thinking he was going to autograph it. He drew a smiley face on it and tossed it back lol.

Arby Fields
Brandt Broussard
Matty Ott

And as someone who goes to La Tech, not forgotten to me but maybe forgotten to a lot of LSU fans: Brody Drost, Will Safford, Zeb Ruddell

I remember being so hyped for Drost to come to La Tech since he was so highly touted out of HS. Didn’t quite materialize. Ruddell is starting CF this year

CPM kept forgetting he was on the roster. Does that count?
