Why not 11-1 with your irrational thinking?

11-1 is very possible.
Have you seen this defense?
Even Bama would be neutered if the D keeps progressing week to week.

How about let’s just take it name by game. This team is growing. Their last 2 games will look very different than their 1st 2. Next year will look very different than this year. We are pointed in the right direction & will win it all much sooner than 99% of the programs in the country. It’s good to be a Tiger!

Biggest key is to stay healthy, which we haven’t done in the last couple of years.

I love how well the defense has played, but Tenn, Ole Miss, and Bama will bring balanced offenses that will expose some of our weaknesses. 8-4 or 7-5 is still very likely.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment if you expect this team to run the table.

10 wins is all I need to win a decent chunk on a throw away bet. Still don't think we get there and never claimed we would. I'd love to be able to circle back to this thread at the end of November but I'm not planning on it happening.

I'm calling it now, LSU will finish between 5-7 and 14-1 this season. Yeah, I know I'm going out on a limb with the 5-7 end of it.

I don’t want to jinx LSU, but Daniels looks as if he may not make it through the season. So far he’s not been hurt to bad but he looks fragile to me. If Daniels can somehow make it to the end of the season then I believe we have an excellent chance of being at least 8-4 and I would not rule out 9-3 in the regular season.
Our defense has made excellent progress as evidenced by our last two games and I expect the D to continue to operate at a very high level. It’s a great time to be a tiger. Geaux fighting tigers

ESPN power rankings must also be irrational. It presently projects LSU to finish 10-2.
