I’ll say it like this.
BK was a great hire to stop the free fall and get the program back on solid ground.
Inheriting the roster he did and getting to the SECCG year one was nothing short of amazing.
That said, it’s looking more and more like a guy who can’t get over the hump and win a championship.
The lack of preparation and in game decisions made in the last 2 season openers are inexcusable.
Does that mean he should be fired for losing the other night? No.
But unless something changes in the way he prepares his team, we are a 3 loss team watching the playoffs from home for the foreseeable future

This is exactly my point. So many Tiger fans hold this view. Why aren't you putting BK in retard status?!? It is fine to list the LSU teams that had championship rosters that didn't get the job done. Maybe that puts Miles in retard status. Why does all the times BK failed at ND not put him in retard status?!? Because he blamed the players? Why is he regarded as the best coach we have had since Saban in so many Tiger fans' eyes? Why does he need more time? Why is 10-2 with all world defenses and shite offenses put Miles in retard status but BK with an all-world heisman winning offense but chicken shite defense, look at his success?!?...Miles averages 10 wins, retard! BK wins 10 again, it is okay, the pundits predicted it. Why does a Coach that gave us the best season in LSU history that has a ring on his finger a retard but the dude that has choked almost every big game in his career not a retard? It makes no sense!

It's not the rant's job to find the next up and comer.

This is a nonsensical argument. Just because he was the best option, doesn't mean that he is perfect. He is open to criticism. He should have been in Sloan's ear after the 3 and out and said why didn't we throw more?
The first drive was beautiful until the end. Open WRs and creative play design. That went away in the 2nd half.

He is 6-20 in top10 matchups
He is 34-35 in top 25 matchups
He is 0-6 in Big Bowl games , Fiesta, Sugar, Orange, Cotton.
He is 0-3 in LSU season openers
He has coached division one 21 years I do believe.
What will change if anything in the those numbers?

That's basically it, which shows BK was the best choice...
How many NCs has Notre Dame won through out their History?
How ,many years did BK coach at ND? How many did he win?
How many Big Bowl games did he win.
Three straight years he has lost to top ten teams, mostly due to a coaching failure. Two can be blamed on a deficit in special teams coaching.
This one was a lack of offensive game plan adjustments.
Cheer up. The next several games should be winners.

Leave the man alone-this is a long season and at least he does not open with cupcakes. Yes, the Tiger should have won but the players lost the game-not him. I will wait until the end of the season to give my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Nothing will change. He is exactly what we fired Miles for
Perennially 9-3
Perennially 9-3

Nobody was thrilled when BK was hired. We wanted Riley, Fickell, or Kiffin

Yeah, the contract is a moot point after 3 seasons.
As long as we aren't extending BK like A&M messed up and did with Jimbo, we are in a good position.

One day, I shall find the time to compile his record against end of season ranked Top 10 because, for example, he doesn't get credit for a win at Top 10 Mizzou last season, but he would also lose some of his Top 10 wins like Michigan St and Ole Miss.
Bellow are those top 10 matchups in the 6-20 record.
Cincinatti (0-3)
L - Unranked Cincy @ #5 WVU
L - Unranked Cincy @ #4 OU
L - #4 Cincy vs #5 Florida (Sugar Bowl)
Notre Dame (4-13)
L - #22 Notre Dame @ #4 Stanford
W - #20 Notre Dame @ #10 Mich St
W - #5 Notre Dame @ #8 Oklahoma
L - #1 Notre Dame vs #2 Bama (National Championship)
L - #25 Notre Dame @ #8 Stanford
L - #5 Notre Dame @ #2 FSU
L - #10 Notre Dame @ #9 Arizona St
L - #6 Notre Dame @ #9 Stanford
L - #8 Notre Dame vs #7 OSU (Fiesta Bowl)
L - #3 Notre Dame @ #7 Miami
W - #8 Notre Dame vs #7 Stanford
L - #3 Notre Dame vs #2 Clemson (CFP Semi)
L - #7 Notre Dame @ #3 UGA
W - #4 Notre Dame vs #1 Clemson
L - #2 Notre Dame vs #3 Clemson (ACC Champ)
L - #4 Notre Dame vs #1 Bama (CFP Semi)
L - #9 Notre Dame vs #7 Cincinatti
LSU (2-4)
L - #25 LSU vs #8 Tennessee
W - Unranked LSU vs #7 Ole Miss
W - #10 LSU vs #6 Bama
L - #14 LSU vs #1 UGA (SEC Champ)
L - #5 LSU vs #8 FSU (Neutral)
L - #14 LSU @ #8 Bama

Absolutely!
The same ones bitching about the contracts are the same ones who would be bitching if LSU didn't make a "splash hire". I hate to break it to them, the big time coaches hold ALL of the leverage in the negotiations. The reason is because fans/donors demand immediate, big, success, and the supply of guys out there who have a history of such is fairly small.
The initial contract is often not the "sin". It's the often unnecessary extension that gets schools in a bind. Jimbo signed a 10 year $75M contract in 2018. Were that contract still in place he wouldn't even be in the top 15 of the highest paid coaches in terms of annual salary. However, were A&M fricked up was extending the contract and giving him a $1.5M raise after just 3 seasons. A&M allowed Jimbo to leverage a 9-1 "covid season" into an extension. Orgeron had ZERO viable market outside of LSU after 2019. Yet, that didn't stop LSU from giving him a big raise they had to eat 1.5 years later.

It is going to fricking suck if he is great at Bama. I think it will happen.
I don't think he can sustain it. History is not on his side either.I think LSU maybe the one of only a few where the following coach, who replaced a NC coach, went on to win his own title.

Simply for Bk to say, we were out coached, out played and they were better prepared. This is ultimately my fault. I will fix this. You will not see us out coached, out played or not prepared again. We will hold ourselves accountable. We are embarrassed in front of our fans
