That defense really stunk again in that game. I have no idea how it'll get turned around this year without 90, 00, and now Toviano

Was at the game, Wisconsin completed a long pass and was looking to go up 21-0. I looked at my FIL and thought "it sucks that we might be leaving this game early" considering these tickets were a Christmas present.
Wisconsin was called for a penalty on that play, they didn't score, and things turned out better than expected.

I was shitfaced in the stadium by the time the Nuss Bus got rolling…glad we pulled out the dub in the shadow of Steinbrenner Field.
FUN FACT: when walking back to the hotel, I took a shortcut through the barrio and ended up getting the best carne asada I’ve had in my life. Cheers to mi hombre for hooking a gringo up

I had so few fricks to give about that game, I actually intentionally slept til about noon to regenerate after NYE. I think I woke up right toward the end of the 1st half.
I probably haven't felt that disinterested in an LSU football game since the end of the Hallman era. Yeah, watching Nuss lead the team for the 1st time was cool and all, but bowl games are such a sham now. And we have played in 3 of them--Kansas State, Purdue, and Wisconsin.

That late goal line stand where they only got a field goal was huge. Especially considering it was first and goal on our one.
