"Our scheme on offense must change. Talented last year and still lost three. Could've easily been 4."

I'm not taking a position on the scheme, but last year easily could have been one loss, as well. We lost to a Bama team that was just better, and could have and arguably should have won the other two games. The O put up plenty of points against Georgia and the loss to Ole Miss was a mixed bag of poor play on both sides of the ball. We certainly had no trouble moving the ball on them.

If we beat Arkansas and Bama this year is be happy.

This next game will be the deciding factor about how this team progresses this year .

We need this next game badly

11/27 @ Texas A&M L 34-24

12/30 vs. Nebraska W 23-20

I can see this happening; or something similar. I figure we do win 1 of the Ole Miss/Alabama games. We have a young team that will play to a high level at least once this year and shock someone. That's what young, talented teams do, they look crappy at times and then stun someone the next week.
I think Bama is starting to come back to earth (not utterly unbeatable), and Ole Miss might be star-struck by their own high ranking and expect to roll us.
I'm a little bit more leery of the Fla game, but think we take at least 1 from Arkansas/A&M. The Hogs are still finding ways to lose, and A&M, I think, peaked way too early.

Top 5 to start the season, for sure. Maybe #1, depending on the bowl this year.
I really expect that Harris, Dupre and Fournette will all erupt in whatever bowl we claw our way into, and establish the expectations that we will be the team to beat next year.

Doom and gloom. I think penciling in a win vs UK may be overly optimistic.

Don't know where you're getting this idea. So we go from terrible on the DL, LB, OL, and inconsistent at QB, and questionable coaching to a playoff contender in one year? Really???

Like I said in another post, experience is good, but it doesn't help much if the talent isn't there.

Have you watched Arky this year? They are MUCH better than last year and have a killer running game. They hung in with Auburn on the road and should have beaten A&M.

Also, they ALWAYS play us tough and this year, unfortunately, we play them on the road the week after Bama. We'll be emotionally flat, and they'll run it right down our throats.

I'd be very worried about Arky this year.

DL--Was going to be beyond young this year anyway and then we lost Trey L, Valentine, Herron, and Thomas(off and on) We will be healthy, deeper, and much more experienced there next year. Godchaux will anchor it.

LB--Welter is gone. Beckwith is improving and we have a 5 star stud in Clifton Garrett waiting in the wings. If Kwon doesn't go pro(doubt he does) he will be the best returning LB in the SEC. Louis, Jones, and Riley have all played well and will be back. This will be the deepest and most experienced position group on the team.

OL--We lose 2 starters in La'el and Porter. I'll give you that this will be a kind of wait and see considering how much they underperformed/regressed this season. However we have a lot of talented young guys like Brumfield and Clapp to go along with Pocic improving and Vadal Alexander needing a strong senior campaign to up his draft stock.

QB- With all the crucial experience Harris is going to get this year, I think he goes off next year. Just my opinion.

.
You're beyond misinformed/delusional if you don't think we are loaded with talent everywhere. Nothing but 4 and 5 star top 5-10 recruiting classes on the field at every position.

Yeah, our defense is rock solid--if you throw in our 3 cupcake games. Otherwise, we've given up 99 points in 3 games against SEC and Big-10 competition. Florida meanwhile has given up 81 points in 3 SEC games, including 42 at Bama. Florida's passing D appears might be suspect, but unfortunately, our passing game is worse at this point. Unless we've improved enormously over the past 6 days, Florida's defense will be able to handle what we throw against it. Again, I'm sorry to say all this, but that's the way I see it. Nevertheless, as always--

I think most would take your predictions and run with it. Personally I'm thinking 7-6, matching the worst record Saban has had at 'Bama. Still say they'll be contenders next season, regardless of the finish this year.

I hope you are right about some and wrong about aTm game...I surely don't want to lose to them...

thanks for the enthusiasm, helps make up for all the negativism these last few weeks...

And they had us on the ropes last year. I'm definitely not counting them as an automatic win. I'm a pessimist. I foresee 1 more SEC win from this team (Kentucky). Hope I'm wrong.

Not as good as, but in the same vein as some of the Nutty teams that caused us pain. Everyone shite on Bulimia last year, but now he's doing what he and Arkansas have always done best: give the ball to great RB's behind a huge, physical line with no weak links.

If we beat Bama, I will personally help to pay the fine for rushing the field, as well as buy every student a round that night in tiger land.

Strangely graphic, but also wrong: Tigahs will release an extraordinary amount of frustration on the rebs in TS. That plus payback for last year's anomaly reads arse kicking to me.
