Those "units" go to the conference, which divides them up evenly among all the schools. Making the first round gets us 1/16 of $2 million, paid over a six year period.

Who we got State? Not sure, they beat us easily week before last then they lost two heartbreakers in a row. An OT loss to Texas and a 1 point loss to Arkansas.

It amazes me how our new fan generation thinks. They rather beat their chest over a Heisman winner than actually win games, it’s no wonder other schools laugh at us, cause in case yall didn’t know, they are not laughing with ya lol.

Yes, I'd rather have a Heisman winner than get to the Round of 32.

Dude we were flooded with Orgeron threads after he was fired, we still get updates on everything he does including random sitings. Dave Aranda threads flood the board every Saturday during football season. CPM threads have been on the board all baseball season. Wade is the only one who posters complain about.
Wade is the only one people complain about

Discussion of other past coaches is a drop in the bucket compared to these two and you know it. CPM is only being discussed now because he just came back to the sport. Aranda discussion fell off dramatically with the losing and the only reason it rebounded at all is because we played Baylor in the bowl game.

It's absolutely close to the same thing. The same things come up over and over and over about Dale and believe me they are absolutely obsessive and still hotly debated. You must not read those threads if you think they are not similar in nature.
Feel free to link to posts where anyone is clamoring for Dale Brown to be re-hired to coach basketball at LSU. Or anyone claiming he shouldn’t have been forced out when he was. Even if all of the cheating allegations were bullshite, he was washed up and had been on a 4 year downhill slide with no signs of that turning around.
These are the things that keep coming up with Wade, and to some degree with O. That’s definitely not the case with other former coaches that get discussed here.

You set the bar pretty low

That's very specific the similarities are in the passion of the discourse and polarity that keeps the threads coming
There were 10 baseball threads on the first page of the board this morning WW threads irritate you those should be more than enough to divert you from a topic that interests others but not you.

Same things have been coming up again and again about Dale as long as this forum has existed and if I were to post one of them now it would be joined by several immediately. That no one speaks of rehiring him is about the only thing not similar there are many parallels otherwise and that's what I'm speaking too.

That’s not a high bar at all.

Attempting to analogize Football’s Heisman to Basketball success is nonsensical. Having a Heisman winner can be a landmark or sign of a programs health or it could be meaningless in that regard which we’ve seen plenty of times before. Burrow’s Heisman in 2019 didn’t cause us to be a contender in 2020 or 2021 for example.

Orgeron threads were from 2 posters and it isn’t even close to this people wanting to bring back Orgeron like Wade. People are pissed and calling for Wade to be brought back - that is not happening so let it the frick go. It is an obsession. Again, I can show you multiple posts from me that called Woodward a coward to everything else for not standing up and saying nope. This was about FOOTBALL being in a jam as much as basketball so there wasn’t an option when you look at it financially.
1. Wade is not coming back.
2. It was political as much as it was Wade’s own doing. So see number 1.
Let it go and live a happier life.
