For the first time in many years, im predicting LSU blows out Ole Miss.

I dont think they will get through the game with less than two turnovers.
I do not think they will be able to run the ball.
I think both of the turnovers will be interceptions due to being forced to pass. Ours might be too. But OM has nowhere near the defense we do.
The tigers will have great field position all night long.
Give me 31-14 .. LSU.
If even half of the Nuss that came out last night shows up to Oxford, it could be worse.

New QB for ole miss has led team to 2 games with 0 turnovers…seems like he has calmed them down.
What remains to be seen is how exotic they can get with a QB that hasn’t been with the team too long….can LSU confuse him when kiffin can’t reach too deeply into checks and calls?

38-17 is my prediction.
Our defense is DEEP and Blake made Dart shite his pants last year.
Baker will have his boys ready and hungry.
BK hates Lane. He’ll have a playsheet to make sure our O isn’t doing idiotic things. Nuss will throw all over Sage Ryan and crew.

You didn’t think they shut Tulane down?

I think LSU wins a close game but what have you seen from this offense that makes you think we can score 38…unless you are banking on a defensive and special teams score.

Zero chance of a blowout.

Baker confused Dart a lot last year. CB blitzes with Stamps were a thing of beauty

I say Tigers 20 Rebels 16. Way too close for comfort but LSU D holds yet again.

Nuss is feeling good, WRs won’t drop passes. Ole Miss defense is the worse than La Tech, Florida, and Clemson

I just hope we win the match

agreed
ole miss secondary looked good yesterday. so did the chambliss Qb
kiffin knows how to coach offense.
because we finally got some wide arse open passes downfield against SELA =this a BLOWOUT on the ROAD against a SEC team is
we did not out X and O SELA. we just finally out athleted/talented them. simple.
our run game still struggled. line is weak.
This game will be a fight.

And the only one the offense could even score 20 on was LA Tech
Again, with our defense I think we can win a low scoring game, but it’s strange this new confidence in the offense just because had a bid night against Southeastern
And there were times when we even struggled running the ball even against them

That's a dumb take. The game is usually a war every year.

Nuss was obviously hurt first few weeks and we played very conservative.
He moved well and had nice touch yesterday. This offense will open more especially against Ole Miss.

cut him some slack he might be 16 years old
it is very hard to get blowouts on the road in the SEC.
we have had them but other than @MOO U they are few and far between.

Can we get our WRs some stickum for this game please?

But... will LSU be able to run the ball? They haven't been able to run off-tackle all season, and the perimeter runs, while on occasion spectacular, have been few and far between.
LSU's running game will determine the winner in Oxford: their own ability to run the football and keep Kiffin on the sidelines, and their ability to keep Ole Miss RBs and QB runs in check.

I’d love to see that, but as of now this seems more like hope triumphing over reason.
Hard not to remain at least a little skeptical until the offense actually does something against a real team.
