More than last year. Last year we on almost every SEC series 2-1 because our pitching staff took so long to come together.

This year I think we are much deeper and should sweep more series.

I'll go with two

@ MSU 2/3 tough place to play
Fla 2/3
@ Ark 1/3
Vandy 2/3
@ Tenn 1/3
@ Mizzou sweep
Auburn 2/3
Aggies 2/3
@ Bama 2/3
Ole Miss sweep

3.

But one will be one we wouldn't expect. And we won't sweep one that is seems like we should.

We also never seem to play well in any sport in Columbia, MO.

I personally have never gone to a game LSU has won (multiple baseball & basketball, 2020 football).

20 wins is pretty lofty expectations. If we only lose series @Ark and @UTk and aren’t getting swept by anyone then we’re going to be a top 4 national seed this year. We were #5 last year.

I was listening to the D1 SEC podcast about Auburn yesterday and an opposing coach described them like this:

"When you go through the line up and pitching match ups on a given weekend, you'll see one team with like 7 advantages and Auburn with 2 advantages. And then Auburn wins the series."

It's kind of unreal how they're perpetually underrated. I think they have a great coach and he always seems to do more with what seems like less. I'm not saying we will definitely drop a series to them or anything. It's just time to stop sleeping on them.

This isn't germane to the thread, but also doesn't need its own thread but here are some milestones some SEC head coaches could hit this season (reasonably):

Jay Johnson - 100 wins at LSU (6 away)
Mike Bianco - 1000 wins, 900 wins at Ole Miss (21 wins from both)
Kevin O'Sullivan - 700 wins (all at Florida) - 19 wins away
Jim Schlossnagle - 100 wins at A&M (20 away) also 52 away from 900 total
Rob Vaughn - 200 wins (17 away)
Chris Lemonis - 200 wins at Mississippi State (33 away)
Butch Thompson - 300 D1 wins (44 away)

Maybe sit this series out then.
