Every team has flaws. People respect us. Even with injuries and mid week games.

Just ask Tennessee, A&M and Ole Miss how their expectations, pitching staffs, and injuries are.

Yeah, but losing back to back games vs nobodies still kinda sucks. We're the best team in the country. It's embarrassing.

Being embarrassed by something that is out of your control is embarrassing

Only thing I can guess is that they received votes at some point?

Not nearly as embarrassing as the large segment of our fan base that still can’t understand the difference between football and baseball

Great question. I'm not sure either.

We need to discuss what back to back means.

Yes but we haven't moved up a single spot since pre-season. CJJ needs to get these guys focused, you can't just sit at the top of the polls all year.

I wouldn't mind a drop to #2, mainly because statistics show its hard to go wire to wire #1.

I’d think they forgot to put their ranking in on the appropriate week(s) on the chart.

They were ranked 20th for at least a week back in March.

Edit to add: after further research, they spent a few weeks there, dropping out with the April 17th poll.

You are nothing. You aren’t on the team. Why are you embarrassed?

Definitely debatable. In my mind the best team in the country doesn’t lose to a lowly, unranked opponent. Maybe im taking crazy pills.

Name a team that hadn’t lost a game they were favored to win.

Statistically, it’s probably equally hard to maintain the #1 ranking for half the year, drop to #2, then win the natty.
