Ten UCF football players opting out of season over coronavirus concerns

My guess is you are going to see more and more opt out the closer we get to Sept 26.

Name any team ranked in the top 10 that has arguably their top player opting out besides LSU. Thanks in advance.

No one else on our level has lost one of the best players in their school's history.

name any team ranked in the top beside lsu that had a perfect season last year. Name a team other than lsu whose coach doesn't control the players with an iron fist.

Frick UCF.

How many players have opted out at Alabama? Have there been any at all?

What are you talking about? Ja'marr Chase if the best player in CFB. When Trevor Lawrence & the other top players do it then yes it is a LSU problem as of now.

Micah Parsons has opted out, but Penn St probably isn't playing this season anyway.

dude.

come on.

I love Chase, he's a different kind of animal and I absolutely wish things were different, but he wasnt even the teams most productive WR in his miracle season. Jefferson had 27 more catches (111 vs 84), and Marshall lead the team in TDs until injuries slowed him down.

Joe is one of the best players in school history.

Stingley is one of the best players in school history.

CEH is one of the best players in school history.

We win the NC last year without Chase. We dont win it without those three.

You clearly have forgotten that he was the best WR in the country last year. 1700+ yards, 20 TDs ring a bell to you? Chase is either the best or the 2nd best WR in LSU history, and I tend to go with the former.

Get a load of this bullshite take. The guy who lead the ENTIRE country in reception yards and touchdowns wasn't even LSU's most productive wide receiver.

He played one less game than Jefferson, btw.

A bunch of projected high draft picks in the Big10 opted out before the cancelled the season. I saw a tweet, prior to Chase opting out, that something like 8 of the top 20 players in their mock draft had opted out of the season. Auburn's best defensive player opted out. Penn State's linebacker, Micah Parsons, who is thought to be the #1 LB in the draft opted out awhile ago. However, I don't see any top programs with the number of opt outs that we've had, especially if two more are to come. Most have 1 or 2 max. We already have had 4 opt out (Vincent, Chase, Shelvin, Farrell) and 3 more transfer or enter the portal.

name any team in the top 10 coming off a perfect 15-0 season and National Title.

Chase has nothing to prove after last year...he can only hurt his draft status with a new QB and or injury.

To everyone at L.S.U and the Rant. I have talked things over with my parents and I have prayed about my decision and at this time, think it is best to opt out of this discussion. I hope that you will honor my decision. I am doing what is best for me. Forever L.S.U.....except when there is money involved.
