Prepare for downvotes. Our fanbase hates the teams starting QB while praising the Head Coach that feels said QB gives us the best chance to win.

We finished 45th in passing. We lost 4 games and beat Arkansas by 3 and Auburn by 4. We certainly were not amazing. I am thankful for all JD did this year but if he does not improve significantly in the passing game next year we will be the same team we were this year--A good team that was lucky it was a down year in the West so a 2 loss team could take it.

I really wish any threads or posts regarding this would be instant deletes by the admins. This argument isn’t going to go anywhere. Most of the ones convinced that Nuss is a QB god will always be convinced he “just needed his shot” unless he is day one starter next year and underperforms and the people who are fine with JD will always think he is fine but flawed unless Nuss is named starter next year and balls out.
I really don’t give a shite who starts next year. At this point I almost wish every fricking QB on our roster would leave and we just pick up 2 from the portal and be done with this argument. It’s exhausting and pointless and both sides have at least some good and bad arguments.

I don’t think anyone hates JD. He just isn’t consistent enough in the passing game to beat elite teams. Or FSU or T4&8. Maybe he’ll make strides in the offseason and be the #1 pick next year. I don’t think anyone on here could realistically predict how he will develop though.

It’s absolutely amazing to me how, so called LSU fans, seek to find any way possible to piss on their own team and on players!
Why don’t we have a show of hands of all the LSU fans who predicted us to beat Bama and win the West this year. If everyone’s going to be honest their
should be very very few hands up in the air but yet we did that and all we want to talk about is our quarterback not “ zinging ” passes.

Can't help it if you can't see the obvious. QB play was good some games, bad some games and ok some games.
It was a down year in all the SEC--Georgia is the only team that looked like it could win each game it was in.
My post certainly didn't piss on the team or player.
If we are gonna improve it will need to start at QB play. Teams have learned to score lots of points you better be ready to match.
