My dad took me to my first LSU game. I don't remember the year - it was in the 80's - I don't remember who LSU played; I only remember it was homecoming, and the band played Johnny's Mambo from Dirty Dancing for the field show. It must have been a down year, because the stands were pretty empty.

I believe that it was 1966 against Ole Miss.
Everyone in the Parking lot was saying "Go to Hell Ole Miss !"
My Uncle always sat at the top of the old stadium with a old fashioned megaphone yelling Go Tigers !

12/5/70 LSU beat Ole miss and Manning 61-17. I thought that it was normal for LSU to return a few punts a game for a TD.
I will never forget it.

LSU v. Florida St. in 1991.
I don't recall much of the game (or the fact that LSU put up a monumental effort in a near upset of the #1 team at the time). I just remember it was a complete downpour late in the game and my dad, never one to go underneath the concourse to get out of the rain, made me sit there and get drenched

Mine was 84 or 85. Me and my cousin were 6 or 7 playing tackle football early on Saturday mornings and my dad and uncle would take us after that for a couple of games a year. We had about an hour commute to tiger stadium and remember them packing an ice chest of bud light and Coca Cola. I still remember how awesome those cold can cokes tasted compared to the 3 liters my mom bought for us at home. I also remember my uncle drinking beers on the way up and belching giving the car a nice beer smell. We’d park on Nicholson and would always manage to find the tailgate run by the legendary Flea. Then we’d go to the motor home lot which was right across from the south end zone to hang around people my dad knew and threw around a football. Then we’d always go see the players come in and the band come down the hill. Then we’d always sit in the lower south endzone. Great memories.

LSU Auburn, 1969? Andy Hamilton caught a td, on the first play if I remember correctly. George Bevan blocks an extra point and we win 21-20. This is the year we get fkd out the cotton bowl for ND. Hated ND and the state of Texas ever since.

Opening game my freshman year. Wow! I had no idea what I was in for! I was not really an LSU fan till the band played those first 4 notes! The hair stood up on the back of my neck! I was hooked!

I was at the 1997 Florida game but don't remember much of it as I was only 5 at the time. The first incredible Tiger Stadium experience that I remember was 2000 Tennessee. I still have a frame with some field grass from that game.

Vanderbilt white out game, I believe that was 1996 or 1997 with my grandfather, so I would have been 9 or 10. I don't remember much about the game other than it being a white out, it rained most of the day leading up until kickoff, and being amazed at the Union, sitting in the theatre watching some of the other games being played that day.

My first game in Tiger Stadium was the 1996 season-opening thriller against Houston. My dad (not a big football fan) wanted to leave early when we were down, but optimistic me said I wanted to stay until the end, especially since it was my first game.
That was an awesome way to start my true Tiger fandom. I was a fan before, but that game really got my blood running Purple & Gold.

Man that was a fun game! Rushing the field afterwards, drunk as Cooter Brown, ran up to Spurrier yelling a bunch of obnoxious shite. We were on the field at 0:00. I'm not even sure if Spurrier and DiNardo had the opportunity to shake hands. Spurrier's State Troopers got him out of there pretty quickly.

My dad took me, I believe is 95/96 Vandy. It was a gold out, I remember it was raining and everyone had ponchos on. It seems like everyone took their ponchos off at the same time right before the game started and the whole stadium went golden. We lost but I will always remember it.

It was either 2000 or 2002 vs Alabama. My sister was in college and brought me to sit in the student section when I was in like the 6th grade. All I remember is it was freezing and we all had hot chocolate

I was 9 and it was 1959. Dad promised me one of his 4 tickets if I got all A's and B's on my report card. I finally got it done just in time for the Ole Miss game. The local pharmacy owner wanted my ticket so Dad told him to make a deal with me. The deal was I got to read the comic books without having to buy them and I got a free cup of ice cream every school day for a year.
After that I went to every game with Dad until 1988. He passed away in 1989. Some great memories.
