That way they can reschedule the game possibly
I assume there is no common open date, or the game would have already been rescheduled, as in the Tulane game.
So when will they move it to? I guess they could play it the weekend of the SEC champ if neither team is in play for that.

If this hurricane drifts west we're talking big time issues. Not even talking about a football game. I know there's a lot of money at stake and the Gators want to play on their home field but this is pretty wild.

They're gunning for the game being canceled so they can avoid an SEC loss. No other explanation as to why they would tie up the first responders needed to put on a football game instead of allowing them to assist in the hurricane recovery.

They don't want to play LSU. How does this affect our chances to make the playoffs if we run the table but play one less game?

So, when those assholes cancel the game due to unforeseen circumstances on Saturday, they can pretend that did everything they could.
They know we are going to kick the shite out of them no matter where we play them, and a cancellation means one less loss. Tennessee losses to A&M and Alabama means they would win the SECE at 6-1 vs Tennessee's 6-2 record.

trying to get the game re-scheduled for when del rio is healthy again.

I wonder if we can get a refund for the money spent on tickets since many LSU fans will refuse to drive toward a hurricane to watch the game. They should know that many people is south Louisiana might be a little nervous about doing that.

Has anyone in Florida ever seen a 737 try to land in tropical storm force winds with unpredictable gusts?
That's criminal to send a bunch of kids into a situation like that.

There is no reschedule. It either happens this weekend or it is cancelled.
Florida plays the weekend of our bye week.

I don't care if they play the game in Toronto Canada, but this is as ignorant as you can get. Insane. They obviously would rather cancel game and finish with 1 loss, and hope Tenn loses 2. For LSU, if game cancelled, all but eliminates them from sec race. I officially hate Florida.

this isn't a non-conf game. it would be played on a wednesday if need be.

SEC ought to make them forfeit if it gets cancelled.

They aren't playing a game mid-week, genius.
This isn't a baseball or basketball game.

The SEC office should step in. I am concerned about our guys flying in/out of that weather. They would rather it be cancelled than play. I hope we curb-stomp them.

It will be cancelled. Just a matter of when!

Uhh.. A 6-1 LSU wins the SECW over every other 7-1 team except Auburn.
..and Auburn isn't going 7-1 in the SEC.

Do not hope the Swamp gets destroyed. There is no need to wish that on anybody.

So, they would rather have traveling LSU fans take up hotel space that could be used for people evacuating other regions. They're gonna get somebody killed.
