Playing a football game at 230 on Sept 13 in BR is not dumb but dangerous.

The game was played in November not September. Big difference.

No he didn’t. He has no power over that. Start times are dictated by the networks.

Dang there's some big name conference games on that hot September Saturday; in addition to LSU--Florida there's Ole Miss-- Arkansas, SC-- Vandy and Tennessee-- Georgia all that same weekend!

Amazing to have all those big conference games that early in the season

Well, I was a student for 5 seasons and made every game through some of the worst seasons. Never bitched out early, regardless of the weather, traffic, or score. Made a handful of road games, and still made most home games when I still lived in the area after graduation. So, I guess what I mean is GFY. But feel free to puss out early if you go to a hot weather game. Seems a common cop out for modern Tiger "fans." You do you, and I'll remain free to voice my opinion.

Hopefully you’re joking. Ole Piss/Arky and Vandy/SC aren’t big conference games

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they bump us to the 6 PM ESPN slot time that weekend.

I wonder if Scott and co will get in Sankeys ear about how hot 2:30 would be.

Wisconsin @ Bama could go in the 2:30 slot in theory.

Texas really going far out on a limb that weekend.
Strange observation considering some of the other games that day and other games on LSU’s schedule.

ABC has first pick so Texas A&M at Notre Dame will likely be prime time.

UGA vs Tennessee will be a top 10 matchup. And NBC might get the A&M vs Notre Dame game.

For about a decade in the 90s-00s, the Florida-Tennessee game was the de-facto East Championship game, and it was usually played the third week of the season. LSU-Auburn was often the same day.

For example, in 2001 Florida was supposed to host Tennessee and LSU was supposed to host Auburn on Sept 15th, but those games were moved to the end of the season due to the Sept 11th attack. By moving them to the end of the season, they both became play-in games for the SEC Championship.

GEAUX TIGERS!

I see Texas got the gauntlet of Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt in a row. I hope they can survive it.

If that game isn’t a 7:30pm kickoff EVERYONE should boycott that game.

Stay HOME and show them how ridiculously stupid it is playing day games in September

You couldn’t PAY ME to go to that game if the kickoff isnt hefore 7:30pm

BK said the 2023 defense would be a clutch unit.

BK said we would prepared for the season opener.

BK said the USC QB outplayed Nuss then denied saying it even though it's on video.

BK says a lot of things that aren't true. Why would you trust him?
