Even if you don’t meet with him directly the night before a game, you still make the effort and send people there at least to make a foray with his agent/manager/family. Shows you’re aggressive and committed.

I’m just fricking around. I don’t have a clue and neither does any of the other posters. All the candidates are preparing their teams for the tournament right now. We may know who we want and have an idea if they will accept the job, but I doubt anything is inked.

Could be Dave Van Horn. Has coached in Louisiana before so he has recruiting ties and has his team at #1. That’s who I would take a look at. Vitello would be a good hire too. Either one is going to require a lot of cash to pry them away from their current gig.
