And we might start the game off with 9-12 passing or better. Can’t have early drops that keep a team in the game with us.

Fix that problem and we will continue to improve every week. Can’t ask for more than that.

Guessing without the practices the WR's weren't able to do the 10,000 catches? Somebody should have left them the keys like OBJ and Jarvis

I feel like Burrows only incompletions in 2019 were either contested balls, bad throws, or throwaways. All of those were rare too. We need to catch the Effin ball.

Improve every week, then beat Bama. RTWFU!

If we beat them two years in a row who cares if we lose 3 or 4 games in this rebuilding year. Next year we will be loaded again with a second year starter at QB. A win this year against Bama could put a stake in Saban's tiny heart.

Guys, Joe Brady didn't invent this, nor is it an LSU secret. Everyone wants to do this, but it depends on the dedication of the athletes.

I'm more of a fan of starting the game off with establishing the run game and short easy passes.

LSU's first touchdown drive was absolutely perfect on that. Gilbert had a catch where Brennan stepped up through the hole the pass rush left to deliver a strike. Emery had 2 carries for 31 yards, and caught a pass on that drive. And it was finished off with a WR screen to Kirklin where the offensive lineman made open field blocks.

Great drive. But you can’t afford to punt your first possession to Bama or Florida......or state.

The bat goggles blow my mind.

It's very effective though.

You take what they give you. Period. If you try to "establish" anything, they will try and take it away.

Whatever they flex with, you attack somewhere else.

And when they take that, you go elsewhere.

agreed.

You don't try to fit a square peg in a round hole. Yes, we can have a preference for what we want to do, but we have to take what the defense gives us, identify their weakness, and attack it. And that has to be done in real-time.
