While I still look forward to the season, the element of apathy for me began soon after 11/26/16.

This season is the first in a LONG time that we HAVE a chance to be an exceptional team. We will need the QB and OC to be pretty good that alone will then be the best team we have put on the field for years.

Yes we still may be middle of the pack in SEC, but only if the QB and OC are not pretty good. Being this is the first year in a long time that I kinda like both the QB and OC situation I am RIDING!!!!!

I’m excited - I think the Tigers will be much better than most experts are predicting.

Been excited about LSU football each season for over 50 years. I always think we will be good and this year I am curious and excited, because we get to see a lot of new starters and no one really knows how good we will be.

Don't see how some.of our fans got so damn spoiled.

LSU has not won a NC in 10+ years. The spoiled narrative is pretty useless at this point. There may be a lot of programs that can’t say that they haven’t won a title in 10+ years, but what if that 10+ years turn into 20+ years, or if that 20+ years turn into 30+ years?

Not me. From a program perspective, this may be the most pivotal season since the early Saban years. And they are up against a monster schedule. Sink or swim, live or die...this is what it’s all about.

The fact that the school is now selling "flex passes" with games like Bama and UGA included proves you aren't the only one.

Well, aren't you special. Try to give up posting about football or any other sport if you don't care. Why should your apathetic opinion matter to those of us who love LSU and are looking forward to this season?

I've been around a long time and one thing I've learned is that you never can tell what kind of team the Tigers are going to be at this time of the year. pre season prognostications are not worth reading and the negativity on this board is really done by people that do not know squat. some of them are undoubtedly not LSU supporters but no one knows how good we will be.

I felt like you do the last few years of les miles because of his stubborn support of Cameron and a lousy offense but there are some things to get excited about this year. this years team should be competitive and mostly fun to watch. with a new QB and our outstanding wide receivers coupled with a stout defense this team promises to be much better than the preseason media projections.
