I'm more excited now than I was a few months ago. Both because it's closer and because I think things are coming together and this team could surprise some folks. Say we get Fulton back and put him opposite of Greedy, and what Aranda referred to as the best front 7 he's ever coached.
A stable of wide receivers who look prime to breakout if Burrow (and the playcalling) can get them the ball. Unless we were sold a bill of goods, Orgeron finally has "his guy" calling the plays.. and they claim they're going to open it up. Would be great to have an explosive passing game in a year where we probably won't have the RB production we've had in previous years.
Apparently a reasonable kicker and much improved special teams.
Only major question marks are OL and RB.. which are obviously big question marks.. but I think we're going to be better than people think.

I feel the same way. I'm always hyped out of my mind by this time of year but I just don't find myself caring very much anymore. It's hard to explain.

I don’t think anyone here is pulling against the Tigers or planning on not watching the games.
But given what we know about this history of the coaching staff, it is really nothing but stupid blind hope to honestly think that this team will compete for something meanignful this year.
Sure we all want that to happen. But name just one thing in Ed Orgeron’s history that leads you truly think it is possible.

that's weird to me. I'm more pumped up than I have been in a long time. Can't wait to finally see a modern pro style offense at LSU with Ensminger calling the plays and with a pretty good QB running the offense. We will see how well it works out. Defense should be pretty good and Aranda has some pieces to work with.
this season is so up in the air as to which way it could go. Miami game should tell a lot. I'm pumped as ever.
Maybe your just tired of tying your emotions to a college football team and a bunch of teenage kids. How does this really affect our lives. Why should we care what they do? I hear that and can relate but somehow I still get sucked in.

I can understand it and wish that myself was more that way. I've been able to undue myself from the Saints and wish I could do the same with LSU. Why should I even care what these guys do? In the grand scheme of this lifetime as a human on planet earth it is pretty meaningless. Tick tock the clock keeps ticking (at least from our point of view).
