We held Furman to their low scoring output this year. Their previous low was 60 points against Loyola. That’s a great sign.

Was GREAT seeing Bigley-Williams playing more...just his presence and quickness in the game makes a difference.... love seeing LSU big men like Naz Reid playing down low for a change....

We had a lot better shot selection on offense, good ball movement, pounded the paint, didn’t jack up a bunch quick threes.

Just getting home and the 2nd half performance was great. If this team can play like that on both ends the rest of the way, I think we can maybe make the 2nd weekend of the tournament. That was outstanding basketball on both ends.

I'm very encouraged by the Tigers' level of play in the 2nd half vs. a very good Furman unit. This leads me to believe LSU will be a force to reckon with in conference play, as this game was a confidence builder for these young Tigers.
