I didn't realize they were using those that long ago.

I was there.

Tackled Arch for a safety and the Ole Miss punt defense team couldn’t come close to catching Tommy Casanova and Craig Burns.

We could if enough people would contact the LSUAD DG's and make your case.

A lot of fans like to complain and whine on here, but will not contact SW and give him your opinion......

He broke his arm earlier in the season. This was his first game back and he played with a cast.

Me too.

The endzones and field looked great.

Old School Tiger Stadium filled with authentic fans that made noise with their mouths and were actually there to see the game!

"Dixie" at 2:05 of the video.

I was at that game as well as a ten year old sitting in the South End Zone Upper Deck with my Dad, brother and sister. That was the night Archie played with a broken arm, Tommy Casanova ran two punts back for a touchdown and Craig Burns for another and it rained oranges on the field. One of the games I'll never forget!

Apparently it was a competitive game, 26-17 to start the fourth quarter. LSU outscored the Rebs 35-0 in that quarter, and could have scored late at the end of the game but chose to kill the clock.

Crazy looking at the size and athleticism of major college athletes then vs today.

Time for me to stop bragging to the youngsters about playing college ball. Hell, I probably wouldn’t have made most high school teams today.

Too bad Les Miles finally, years later, gave Ole Miss back that second.
