Well, he's not exactly wrong. That's a question a nurse should know. Sounds like a pretty shitty nurse to me. Hope she's not a LPN.

If they already discharged him, he’s probably fine.

Good news is that it’s not seizure related

Yes it is. It’s just sad how our culture is so desperate to be the first to break news that we spread terrible rumors without credible and vetted info.

I’ve seen anaphylaxis and grand mal seizures before. Someone with little medical experience and no other information could easily confuse one for the other.

Probably just someone who mistook it for a seizure.

At 6 am this morning a poster started a thread that Stingley was out for the game and stated it was do to a seizure from last night. That thread was promptly deleted but the speculation lingered. 4 hours later LSU confirmed it via Shea and Rece Davis about stingley being out - non covid but didn't confirm seizure either. I imagine we won't know what actually happened. Could it have been a seizure? Yes. Could it have been an allergic reaction? Yes. Only the coaches and Dereks family know and we won't know.

LSU statement says he will be discharged soon, but Jimmy D makes it sound like he’s on his deathbed on the radio.

He was supposedly reacting to the allergy in a seizure type symptoms manner.

Does Stingley have a history of seizures or something?

What do you have an allergic reaction to the night before the season starts?

What food are you trying that youve never eaten before but decide to the night before the start of the season

Sounds like she’s a retarded nurse. That’s a standard question she should know.

Then you got little kids like this calling peoples wives retards. When are they gonna clean this place up?

No one goes around thinking "oh man, first game tomorrow, I better not try any new foods because I might get an allergy."

A lot of people develop food allergies later in life and they seemingly come out of the blue.

If he ever had a legit shot at winning the Heisman, I hope missing 10% of the season won't be the difference in him not getting it.

Get better, Sting!
