Amazing how well he is currently hitting

Damn- Arden Key needs to take a lesson from him

That doesn’t explain his inability to catch the ball

He has actually improved as the season has gone behind the plate and hitting.

No? Maybe he is flinching.

Both catchers exhibit the laziest catching I’ve ever seen above jv Ball.
Constantly reaching rather than getting on knees and blocking balls.

They are actually pretty good. Catching with a broken bone in your hand as catcher I imagine is a tough job

Why couldn’t coomes catch the ball? He didn’t have a broken hand
Posted on 5/7/18 at 11:22 pm to Bradentu2
Haha a catcher is not gonna catch every ball and he was hitting good so we played him
Posted on 5/7/18 at 11:30 pm to labeast335
I don’t know he looked pretty terrible

throwing hand shouldn't affect his ability to catch the ball, there's been a ton of passed balls this year, and wild pitches that could have been called passed balls. There's been 11 passed balls and 46 wild pitches, that's too much.

Go watch a catcher field a wild pitch or not a perfect pitch he uses both hands

That doesn’t excuse coomes

Its becoming painfully obvious that you know nothing about this team

Thank you.
I'm pretty retarded when it comes to actually KNOWING baseball. But I'm at almost every home game and watch/listen to every away game.
#7 has a rocket of a arm throwing guys out at 2nd and he's had two very nice DPs(K's then throw outs) at 1st and 3rd respectively this season.
Really impressed with his turning the corner hitting and working on the passed balls(that's his only real issue I've seen).

So why can't he catch normal fricking fastballs?? Has to have more past balls than any catcher in last 20 years huh?
