Jimmy Gilbert's only TD pass as a Tiger, and it was a good one! Very un-McClendon like play-- I don't ever recall him stretching the envelop like that either before or after that play

It's just as well. Lee would have dropped the ball, as was his wont.

Earthquake, Byrd, Cole Tracy in that order.
All of these are games that immediately come to mind.
One game in this series that is often overlooked is the 2017 game, where DJ Chark took that punt to the house and then we ended up pulling out the W in a game we weren't supposed to win.

Michael Clayton almost murdered the Auburn return man on the kickoff
That was corner Roderick Hood and he did not return to the game.
TKO.

2007 Flynn to Bird is the first to pop in my mind. Followed quickly by the 3 score comeback in 2018 that started with DJ Chark.

John Vaughn 0-5 and the doink to lose it in OT.
As loud as TS can get that night and an underrated game in the rivalry.

Cole Tracy 2018. Coming back down 21-10 in the 4th with our new transfer qb, some guy named Joe Burrow.
I was there that day. Hottest I’ve ever been in a stadium. Jordan-Hare ran out of water quickly.

Flynn to Byrd was magic.
Flynn to Byrd was one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Glad it worked out, obviously. But we as Tiger fans should’ve taken notice about who Les was from that.

2019 was a fun one. The only defense that made it tough on our offense that entire year. Was the only old school type of game, mostly at the LOS between their DL and our OL. Not necessarily the play calling. And then just the excitement knowing we were 8-0 heading into our big game with Bama.

Yes!! Exactly! It was electric.

there's so many great LSU-Auburn moments for both sides.
One of my favorites that is underrated is the arse whipping we gave them in 2011.
Eric Reid and Jarvis killed that kick returner after going up 28-3 and he fumbled and we recovered it. We ran it down their throat 3 plays in a row and scored to go up 35-3 and you could feel the energy in the stadium for the next kickoff.
and then Jarvis killed the returner again.
2 plays later, Ron Brooks pick 6 and we are up 42-3.
About as electric Tiger Stadium has ever been with a 39 point lead.
and the next returner was extremely lucky Mingo didn't annihilate him. He just barely missed killing him, and sort of barely got an arm out but still pretty much clothes lined him. and you could hear the crowd anticipating that next big hit.
I do'nt think there's ever been a time where no one wanted to return a kick for a team, and i'm sure Auburn players were trying to hide when they were looking for someone to return the next kick.
It's the funnest time i've ever had in Tiger Stadium for a blowout, hands down, although VaTech in 2007 would be a close 2nd.
go to 1:31:30 for the first kill and just keep watching.

So many to chose from: I was at 95, 2001, and 2007, but my favorite was probably 2005 doink game. I was at the game with a friend who is now passed away. We had so much fun at that one. Awesome memories.

I was also at that classic 1969 game in which LSU edged Auburn, led by Pat Sullivan at QB.
That pass by Jimmy Gilbert was a great moment, along with the blocked field goal and blocked extra point later in the game.

Not the greatest season but the end of the 2008 game was great. Jared Mitchell made some good plays down the stretch and Lee hit LaFell on a TD late that would wind up being the game winner.
That was a great game that is long forgotten because neither team turned out to be very good that season (The worst season in the Miles era, and AU finished 5-7). However, at the time is was a huge top 10 matchup: LSU (6) v Auburn (10). I'll always remember it because it was my first time attending an LSU v Auburn game in Auburn.
The crowd was great...and loud. (IIRC) Andrew Hatch got hurt in the game and was replaced by Lee. It was 7-3 Auburn late in the 2nd quarter when Lee threw a patheticly feeble pass in the flat that was intercepted and returned for a TD. It would be the first of the several pick 6's Lee would throw that year. And also the first of many panicked passes he would throw over the next 4 years.
Down 14-3 at the half, things weren't looking good. Lee then connected on a long TD pass over the middle where he basically just shite his pants while getting hit and threw the ball up for grabs. Luckily, it ended up being a perfect pass for a TD to get LSU back in the game. Keiland Williams threw a TD pass later. Then Lee led a late drive to score the winning TD with about a minute to go.
Walking out of the stadium I remember two things:
1. Auburn fans were PISSED. I didn't realize before that night how much they really disliked LSU and LSU fans
2. After starting the season with a Harvard transfer I thought LSU had found a good QB in Lee. First significant game action...in a very hostile road environment...and he leads an 11 point 2nd half comeback punctuated by a late game winning drive. Unfortunately, that was the pinnacle of Lee's LSU career.

The infamous earthquake game. Also the also infamous two plays in four seconds with a pass to Hammond's Brad Davis to beat Ole Miss. I live five miles from the Mississippi line and on I-55 it said, entering Mississippi, set your clock back four seconds. That was cool.

MY freshman year, 1980. With less than 30 seconds left in the game, Marcus Quinn steps in front of a Joe Sullivan pass at the 1-yard line to seal a 21-17 victory. That was Quinn's second INT and he nearly housed the kick. Aubuen was in that position because they blocked a punt and recovered it at the 11 with only 49 seconds left in the game.

That was my first ever game in Tiger stadium. I was hoarse for a week after that game. The "TING" when the ball hit the upright was amazing.
