Without a doubt the best was Jones unless someone before the 60's was as good. It's remarkable that, as good as LSU has been, we've had so few great QBs. Hopefully that's changing.

It's tough for me, because I liked Jones, Woodley, Risher, Mauck, Davey, Russell and Flynn. If I had to pick one, I would probably go Davey as well, because of the warrior spirit - like Hester is for the RBs.

ETA: How could I forget Herb Tyler???

With Wick, I always felt like something was missing though....He was good but also came up short in big games. Not mobile at all.

I liked the way Risher played. His throwing style was unorthodox but he could sling it.

He helped put the nail in Bears coffin back in '82....No disrespect to Bear intended.
