The gold helmets made them look too much like Georgia Tech or Washington, imo.

The combination we wore vs. S. Carolina last year with the standard purple jerseys and white pants and headgear was clearly the best looking Tiger uniform ever.
I don't think that should replace the traditional white jerseys and gold pants and headgear(that combination is precious and intimately associated with all the LSU championships), but I would like to see that alternate for one conference home game each year (maybe vs. a second division opponent like Missouri or Vanderbilt).

Damn did we look good while losing that game. Hopefully we wear them again. I also liked the pro combat jerseys against Auburn in 2011

I like the yellow jerseys with the white pants like we wore against Vandy that year only with yellow helmets instead of white. Since we wore purple with white this past season maybe we can do the yellow with white this season.

That post-Katrina relief uniform would have looked nice if those half-arsed "stripes" were removed from the shoulders.
